Skill improvement/decrease
Hey I'm a ranger/necro. and here is one major change I want to make (or minor if you want).
I personally think that a Mesmer can beat a Necromancer which is totally unfair, and here are the reasons why:
1. The skills: It looks like Conjur Phantasm destroys all other necrotic moves, even though most Necromancer moves are life stealing. Conjur Phantasm can be countered by Monk moves, such as Healing Breeze, but necromancer moves are so weak in health degeneration such as Life Siphon and Faitheartedness. Another move is Image Burden, which slows down attack and movement speed, but no health degeneration. Now these 2 moves are of course used by Shatter Gargoyles and Wind Riders, but my party always gets terminated by mobs of them doing that move. Here are the suggestions:
a. Instead of making Conjur Phantasm improve its duration, I want it to improve on its health degeneration starting weakest 1 and strongest 5, and the duration stays on I don't know, maybe 7-10 seconds.
b. Create Life Siphon and Faitheartedness's health degeneration more powerful from 2 to 4 and make its max duration to 15.
c. Create faitheartedness to lower movement speed as well as attack but make the cost of it more.
d. Lower the amount of energy depleted from Spirit Shackles to 2-4.
Another thing thats bad about Necromancers are the Bone Horrors.
Mainly they are good in mobs created by primary Necros, but what about Secondary? I've tried doing it, but all I get are just pathetic pieces of level 11 blobs that deal like 5 damage to creatures since of course I am a ranger. So here are some suggestions:
a. Create Bone Horrors to become more powerful.
b. Put some enchantment or something so when it dies the foe gets diseased or poisoned.
c. Longer duration/more health at a smaller level.
So here's what I want to point out and try to say: Necromancers are weaker than Mesmers and need to be changed.
